You just never see those fancy footworks and crazy moves from Harden
Comparing Harden to Kobe is blasphemous to the greatness of Kobe
Does Kevin Durant not exist anymore????? And again, Harden will never catch MJ, Kobe, and Wade as a player or SG.
Harden doesn’t deserve to be in this conversation AT ALL, doing so is disrespectful to Kobe.1)MJ2)Kobe3)D WadeHarden will never get there. Also, let’s see what harden does in a system that doesn’t force the ball in his hands.
Looks like Kobe is still better after Harden choked against no KD warriors lol.
best offensive year:Kobe 35,4 pts \ 37% of the points of his team \ 2016 has been once of the lowest pace of the NBA historyJordan, 37ppg \ 35%Harden, 36PPG \ 31% on the highest pace since the 1994.... houston being the second pace behind GSW at 116 ppg.All states are relative to the context, even the record.Getting 30 rebounds, while both teams shot below 40% and yourself get 3/4 own quick rebound on missing put back is nothing comparing to 17 rebounds on a 55% shooting game without own rebound. Moreover with a pace below 100.
harden travels a lot....
Harden gets his points from fouls while kobe gets his points from his skill
I think that if Kyrie was in good health he would tear up that discussion
NObODY'S bETTER THAN KObE! HE IS THE MOST HATED AND IS THE GREATEST OF AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW FUCCEN TIME!
Harden is A Low budget T-Mac that can’t make the NBA Finals don’t compare him to MJ,Kobe, Not even Wade
u guys just dont get it Its MVP Stuff #feartheBeard !!!
Harden is a good basketball player. Kobe is a Killa
Stephen a Smith is completely talking from something that we just don’t see that because Stefan Carey wouldn’t be able to do that everybody knows he will be I mean come on Stefan Carey is already breaking every record destroying everything in an NBA as far as being able to shoot them basically anywhere and be that efficient with it and you think that if he was put in a situation like James Harden is he won’t be even better if he was just told to shoot the ball all the time really he’s just talking from something we just don’t get to see so you can’t really make that argument now can you Stefan Carey will be just as wet or Stephen a Smith is completely talking from something that we just don’t see that because Stefan Carey wouldn’t be able to do that everybody knows he will be I mean come on Stefan Carey is already breaking every record destroying everything in an MBA as far as being able to shoot them basically anywhere and be that efficient with it and you think that if he was put in a situation like James Harden is he won’t be even better if he was just told to shoot the ball all the time really he’s just talking for something we just don’t get to see so you can’t really make that argument now can you Stefan Carey will be just as wet or even more..
He's not even better than Kevin Durant. People live in the moment so much it's crazy.
We really saying that Steph is a system-player? Yes, the system helps him, but systems win rings. Great systems= great teams, and ultimately (of good enough) win titles.Strictly speaking offensively, Stephen A is again off his rock. When Steph won unanimous THE ENTIRE LEAGUE WAS TRYING TO STOP HIM, and dude still put up avg 30 ppg, shooting 50/40/90 in —wait for it— 34 min per game. 34!!!!!! Sitting the 4th. I could already hear the trolls saying he would’ve got hurt if he would’ve played the 4th. Naw bruh, he would’ve avg 40 and Stephen A would still be “prisoner of the moment” and pick Harden rn.
Bryan Refuerzo Steph isn’t even the best player on his team lol
Accept the fact that Harden is the most offensive player for this season.. And no other than him .. Not Durant not curry not lbj . Just Harden..
I am a bryant and harden fan.. They are both great in there own style and strategy.. Why we need to compare one another .. No further explaination
You’re Comparing a playoff choke artist that’s always injured to a 5 time nba champ? The disrespect for Kobe is ridiculous.
Kobe Bryant was a greater offensive than MJ too. He was not as efficient as MJ because MJ was more of a dominant inside and middle range scorer. Kobe was a better outside or deep range scorer than MJ. Kobe was more explosive than MJ. He did not have his efficiency.
I may be being naive but he is a better player then a lot since Jordan era but his only problem is that he needs a better power forward and small forward BTW I'm a Houston fan but Jordan and Kobe are way better I would say harden = shooting guard no 3-4
Steven A is so biased towards iso scoring and it shows with the types of players he LOVES- Carmelo, Kobe, now Harden. I've never bought into Harden being in the same league as Steph, Durant or Bron. If anything, he's the ultimate product of a system. Its no surprise he's won his MVP and scoring titles under Mike D'antoni. The ultimate indictment comes in the playoffs though; where he's absolute garbage, its almost like he's zapped of any confidence whatsoever- Max his this point on the head. Its astounding how Steven A would refuse to judge LeBron on anything other than post-season success, but will sit there and crown Harden a better Offensive player than LeBron (who assists and grabs offensive rebounds better). Here are a list of efficient automatic buckets: AD, KD, Steph and LeBron
Olumide Afolami harden took the warriors to 7 games. That’s a fact. Lebron got swept and shitted on by Kd LOL. Two back to back finals mvps on his head lol
@Francisco Pizarro Thats a bunch of "ifs" right there bruh. Harden has his chance to take them past the Warriors, what do we get? The worst 3pt shooting performance by any team in playoffs history! LMAO
Olumide Afolami Stephen curry isn’t even the best player on his team and you really bringing Lebron in this ? If cp3 didn’t get injured last year, the rockets would’ve swept the Cavs in the finals and James harden would’ve gotten a finals mvp on lebron’s head
kobe took 38 more attempts than harden to get 43 pts lmao.. i mean kobe was good but harden is on another level.. he even makes mj look like poop lmao
Steph a system player? Isn't Stephen A the same guy who praises steph for being able to shoot and score under any condition? Steph wouldn't take as many dribbles as James, he would just shoot as soon as he gets the ball and crosses the half court line. If he is doubled, he can pass like James to an open teammate and avg. just as many assists. What is Stephen A talking about? He is literally saying the exact opposite things he said about Steph during the years he won back to back MVPs.
what damn fool would thank harden was ova Kobe anyway???...
Please passing is apart of offense. And Kobe didn’t pass
9/25 fg 2/13 3pt greatest offensive player ever since jordan
The only stat that Kobe is better than Lebron is free throw... thats it!! Lebron has better 3 point, 2 point and offensive rebounds and everything!! Plus he can pass (Kobe clearly cannot). So how is Lebron NOT a better offensive player than either of these guys?
IF YOU GO WITH----woulda coulda shoulda---YOUR debate is over!!!!!!!
give me the MAMBA over "any" in nba history!!!(STRAIGHT NASTY)
No dought.kobe is the close name behind michael jordan.if kobe was in his prime in nba today kobe can ave.40 ppg. Because the nba today is soft and no defense at all.👌💕
I’m taking Durant over Kobe n harden
Within the topic of this discussion being offense and the ability to score the ball, James Harden does not have the edge over Kobe Bryant. Since Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant was the closest version we ever saw to MJ with his ability to score from midrange, in the post, and from the perimeter. Overall, Kobe was a better shooter than MJ, but when you talk about having the full offensive arsenal and putting on scoring clinics that’s all in favor of Kobe. His footwork and capability to make the most toughest of shots was what made Kobe the most unguardable and unstoppable of his time because anytime he would mix it up and that’s what made Kobe the best offensive player with the best skill level of his era. The NBA has changed in terms of physicality, so this argument between Harden and Kobe clearly favors the Mamba because each night he would have to go up against the most elite of defenders and competition and because of this it made Kobe dominant on the offensive side of the ball becasue no matter what the defense came at him with, he took it upon himself to make the opposition work to stop him from scoring. There’s no question that Harden is an offensive talent, but in terms of comparing him to Kobe Bryant then the edge is going to be in the advantage of Kobe simply becasue he was such an elite scorer and lockdown defender who would put on scoring performances that made him such a special talent and one of the greats to ever play this game.
Never the day would I hear curry is better than harden on offense
James harden Isn’t better than Curry. KD. And Lebron offensively that is a joke 🤣
Kobe has never flopped. EVER !
Harden? What about KD? Offensive player post-Jordan are KD > Kobe > Harden
@Rodrigo Barraza Núñez to each their own I mean kobe averaged 28 and 30 with prime shaq on his team and even tho Westbrook was on the team Durant was the go to guy
@Jidam Altamirano that's true and we'll see, because although playing with Pre-2019 Russ as your PG and average that it's not easy, I'll take Kobe over KD every day. I really think he's the better offensive player but you're right, it's open for debate
@Jidam Altamirano we'll see, I'll take Kobe over KD every day, but I really believe he's the better offensive player
@Rodrigo Barraza Núñez if you did say he had 4 and Kobe only 2 we can look at the 2 scoring titles Durant won while averaging 28 ppg kobe had multiple seasons were he scored as much or more and didn't win it. Also Durant hasn't hit the decline of his career kobe got injured and older in 2013 before that he was averaging over 27 for his career too. No doubt Durant is top 5 all time as a scorer tho
@Jidam Altamirano That's right. I could say KD has 4 scoring titles over 2 from Kobe, or say that KD is 4th in career ppg all time close to Elgin Baylor, but I won't do that. I'll just say KD has never taken the offensive load that Kobe took (he played with Russ and now with Curry) so that means less points. I hope he leaves the Warriors to see if he can really take that offensive load and maybe score over 50 or 60 a few times.
😂y'all really mad because harden really out there balling against y'all favorite teams🤘🏿🚀. Wild
Kobe literally did the same thing as Harden now(Constant 30, 40, 50, 60 point games) except with a much more physical NBA than today... harden is great and all but c'mon he's guaranteed 20 free points every game because he tilts his head back while driving....
Max is ridiculous. Dantoni capitalizes on great one on one players but not players like steph who has to do so much off the ball action.
Stephen a Smith Steph curry is the system tf you talm bout.his skill do great he literally changed the way you play defense...steph would average 40
Nigga said curry would average 40 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ stfu
Stephen A. Steph was shooting alot more off the dribble in 2015-16.. u don't remember that? 🤦🏽♂️
bored soimonhere its not that he can’t shoot off the dribble but is he taking guys 1 on 1 every play ? And I’m talking about players at his position not a slow big switching on him or him getting off ball screens
Kobe is the mosy clutch player of all time even jordan
I'm sick of every single pundit bringing up Curry in a d antoni system, it's pissing me off
Harden ain’t close to KD. Don’t even begin to compare him to Kobe
