For all parts
Pissin the wife off throwin money at a project car you definitely shouldn't... HELL YEAH!!
Owning a Delorean is like frying bacon naked. I always see all these [add larger engine here] comments on most every Delorean post. 1st off , if you want a fast car, buy one as HP IS CHEAP. Endless supply of 450+hp Mustangs for dirt cheap. But say you enjoy pain and suffering and do shoehorn in another engine. Well then your trans will fall out. It will overheat. Basically ANYTHING that moves or spins will need replacing. Remember, the SS and style held up real well but this car is almost 40 yrs old!! Also, mine is my daily driver and daily I almost get killed. Low to the ground, blends in with concrete and people LOVE to sit in the blind spot to take pics which on this car is about everywhere. The lucas wiring is a nightmare so go ahead and expect to hit a bump and something to stop working, hit another and it will come back on. Even if you have no value or concept of money you HAVE got to learn the basics to troubleshoot unless you buy 2. One being worked on and one waiting to be worked on. It is what it is. A fair weather, weekend driver and attention magnet. I have ran a year with ZERO issues and then turned the key and it is dead. Before it is all said and done you will know where every single last nut/bolt grounding point and be familiar with every issue these cars had. Unless you ARE a mechanic and understand the fuel system "Kjet" expect to buy some testing equip and a steep learning curve. I have pulled into so called "exotic" garages that cater to the German cars and customers who toss them the key and a blank check and say "fix it". I have literally watched the owners and mechs openly laugh. They are not there to FIX anything or LEARN. They are to replace parts and make the owner feel all warm and fuzzy. You mean you want us to crack open, blow the dust off a 40 yr old manual on a car they made 1 year? Hahahahahahahahahahaha..............I could write a book. My father bought one at $26 grand in 82 which in 82 value was around $60 grand. After 6 months he dumped it as the local DMC auth dealer had no mechanics aut to work on it. I bought mine in 07 and still have issues to this day. Am I glad I bought mine so I could fulfill my desire and obsession with seeing one actually running and "dependable?" YES. If I could use my flux and go back to 07 and walk away and get a Pantera instead? Oh hell yeah.
5:21 No, it's not the battery; you simply didn't flip Doc Brown's secret switch, just like Mary had the same problem :D
Wizard needs to wear his seatbelt....he never does. His catapulting exit through your windshield would not be elegant.
I say swap the engine with a 1.21 gigawatt electric unit. Then, you'd see some serious shit.
apparently the Wizard is not a race fan. if he was perhaps he'd understand how useful seatbelts were.
There's a company in Texas that has every original part to these cars unused.
Delorean Motor Company has a ton of parts for these, they restore them to new condition. I'm willing to bet they have all the parts you need.
For some reason the engine dies? Have you replaced the plutonium yet?
Send it to Tavarish
turn on captions starting from 7:25 for some applause, lol
This is the greatest thing you have ever done! It just cannot be topped!I can't ever separate seeing one of these things from thinking... Back to The Future! It doesn't matter how much you have to spend to bring it back to the present. You have my full permission to spend any amount required. (Don't forget to glue a Magimix to its rump.)
Sorry, you don't know one-tenth of what is broken yet! I've owned two of them!
whats the deal with that sweet sweet ford exp tyler??
6:43 sounds like the power steering needs oil
I don't think Tyler can drive a problem free vehicle. Pretty sure he'd go insane.
Where we go, we don't need license plates!
Hi there. My name is Lucas. I have been watching your videos for a few years now and I love them! I like you and your humor and your personality! I am very jealous of the cars you have! I am a car person myself but can not afford to have a nice ride like yours! I have had a quite a few nice cars in my days but now I drive a 92 Dodge Stealth ES that I got 3 years ago for 1400$ and after I put in another 1500$ in parts and repair in it to make it safe.... It runs but looks like crap! Anyway...I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS AND I THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME LOTS OF ENTERTAINMENT! Thanks man! Luk
I know the style today is to buy whatever is shiny and expensive and bolt it on, but what you call a "Mickey Mouse" exhaust took some skill to make and probably served its purpose for quite a while. It was done because OEM Delorean exhausts are terrible for a number of reasons. But nobody seems to understand or respect people who take what they have and make something work. That's what hot rodding used to be about. Oh well.
Make this car your mascot slap logos on it
Ford EXP!! Haven't seen one of them in a very long time!
https://youtu.be/0lrIqGphJx8 this company have everything you need for your time machine
There’s a guy who bought dmc and is restarting the company out of Texas and sells every part for that car every one of them down to bolts!
Hoovie: "Where we are going we don't need roads!"Wizard: "No, but you might need your check book."I genuinely laughed out loud. Funniest thing the Car Wizard has ever said.
Tyler: do a manual transmission swap please!
have you seen the crash test at 40 mph OMG
Put a stage 2 or even 3 kit in it!

Holy CRAP.. is that a 1982 Ford EXP beside the lift?????? WANT!!!!
I owned a Delorean for 4 years. Speedometer angle drive, fuel accumulator, auto transmission issues, electrical issues, cooling problems due to vapor lock, anemic A/C; just a small number of issues I encountered.
In the UK there's a TV show called 'wheeler dealers'. Search for the one where they restored a Delorean, and they managed to find OEM and stuff, from memory there's a place in the US which has a load of parts.
This car... you should totally LS swap it!!! Then you can actually time jump without a flux capacitor 😃😃😃🤜🚀
We'll back in the 2000's my dad bought a 7000 dollar delaurean the engine didn't work and he rebuild it it and in total all he had to repair 2000 dollars. So he bascially has a 9,000 dollar delurean
*Dude LS swap that garbage engine*
I am hating “liberty mutual “ and there stupid commercials .
